Hathaway Corporation (HWYI) Subsidiary, Diabetes Detection, Inc., Plans to Launch Specialized Cellular Phone Service to Healthcare Industry

Hathaway Corporation, a leading global provider of communications and telecommunications software and services, today announced that its subsidiary, Diabetes Detection, Inc. ("DDI"), is planning to provide a suite of services and specialized content to the healthcare industry over a cellular network.
The Company is currently exploring several options for providing cellular service as a Mobile Virtual Network Operator ("MVNO"). MVNOs have become popular in recent years with the success of such MVNOs as Amp'd Mobile and Virgin Mobile.
DDI is continuing development of its vibrametric device for diagnosing diabetic neuropathy, and has plans for further testing of the device over the coming weeks. "We believe the combination of DDI's vibrametric device with a healthcare-specific cellular network represents a paradigm shift in the way medical information is managed and disseminated within the healthcare industry," stated Paul D.
