Monday February 12, 2007

Hathaway's Goal Is to Acquire and Spin Off at Least Two More Companies This Year

Hathaway Corporation, a business development company that focuses on the development of companies in the communications, telecommunications software and medical devices industries, announced today that the company has signed an agreement with Knowledge Market, a Silicon Valley Company that locates and evaluates non-commercialized intellectual property (IP) with a view towards meeting specific market needs. Knowledge Market was instrumental in bringing DDI (Diabetes Detection Inc.) to Hathaway and continues to assist in the further development of DDI.

"Our goal is to acquire and spin off at least two more companies this year. Having worked with Knowledge Market on the DDI deal, they understand our criteria in what we're looking for and we have no doubt they will deliver us opportunities we're seeking in order to continue Hathaway on its established path of acquisitions and subsequent spin offs," stated Mr. Paul D. Lisenby, acting CEO of Hathaway Global and interim Chairman.
