Company Seeks to Gain FDA Approval Through Clinical Trials of the
Pager Unit Developed in Conjunction With Daviscomms (S), Ltd
PALO ALTO, CA--(MARKET WIRE)--Aug 7, 2007 -- Hathaway Corporation
(Other OTC:HWYI.PK - News), a company that focuses on acquiring,
developing, and managing disruptive technologies in the telecommunications,
medical devices and software fields, announced that their wholly
owned subsidiary DDI has, in conjunction with Daviscomms (S), Ltd,
announced the company has developed a pager with DDI's patent-pending
vibration technology and will utilize the pager to begin clinical
trials in testing diabetic patients for neuropathy deficiencies.
The pager unit is expected to be the first of several devices utilizing
the DDI vibrating technology to detect neuropathy in diabetic patients
here in the U.S. and other countries where this disease continues
to grow. Currently over 177 million people globally suffer from
diabetes and millions more have the potential to come down with
this disease in their lifetime unless properly diagnosed and treated.
